Après avoir remporté le troisième prix d’un concours organisé par les Producteurs de poulet du Canada, le député du NPD Sylvain Chicoine (Châteauguay-Saint-Constant) servira son fameux sandwich de poulet canadien grillé au BBQ lors d’une activité-bénéfice le dimanche 15 juillet.
Pour la modique somme de 3$, les citoyens pourront déguster la fameuse recette de M. Chicoine. Tout l’argent amassé sera remis à des banques alimentaires de la région, un montant qui s’ajoutera au 2500$ remporté il y a quelques semaines par le député lors du concours. Au total, près de 10 000$ amassés auprès des gens d’affaires et des commerçants de la circonscription seront ainsi distribués. «Ce sera une occasion parfaite de nous réunir pour une bonne cause», dit M. Chicoine.

Sylvain Chicoine to host fundraising eventAfter winning third prize in a contest organized by Chicken Farmers of Canada, NDP MP Sylvain Chicoine (Châteauguay-Saint-Constant) will serve his famous barbecued chicken sandwich at a fundraising event on Sunday, July 15.
For just $3, citizens can taste Chicoine’s famous recipe. All the money raised will be donated to food banks in the region, to add to the $2,500 won by the MP a few weeks ago. In total, nearly $10,000 raised by business people and merchants in the riding will also be donated. “It’s a perfect opportunity to get together for a good cause,” said Chicoine.
